Measuring

Measuring is very important. Detailed and accurate measurements will ensure a good start and less errors.

Measurements to make:

  • The height from the floor to the ceiling

  • Room measurement, length, and width of the room, wall to wall

  • Measure each window and their distances from the floor and the corners of your room. Do the same for the door(s)

  • Location of any pipes, vents and electrical outlets

Planning

This part is the difference between a kitchen that works and one that doesn’t. There are lots of things to consider, like where to put the fridge, how you want your cabinets arranged and how many drawers you’ll need.

Remember the triangle rule for kitchens - the space between the sink, fridge and oven/hob. These are the areas you will be using most.

If you are unsure, we can let our designers make some recommendations for you and see if you like them.

Ordering

When your plan is all set and done, we will provide you with a modeled drawing with all the measurements.

Then you can start choosing materials. Choose from the materials above and let us know which one you like most, from then we can choose the colors and patterns.

Installing

Now that you have everything with you, you can start putting it in the kitchen. Contact your local joinery regarding installations.

Remember to leave clearances for the appliances, refer to the manufacturer of your product for more details.
